The Taurus players are LED controller with an integrated media player. Their main area of use is in outdoor advertising, as each device has its own software to play ads. Moreover, TB6 and 8 contain an HDMI input to be able to add an external source. In total, there are five sizes available. Two of the products are sold on the Asian market only. We offer the other three on our website.
Why Taurus?
Its special feature: two control options. One can access all Taurus players with ViPlex locally via LAN or WIFI, or over a cloud. In the first case, all contents are loaded onto the controller itself, in the second one into the NovaStar cloud.
By using NovaStar’s cloud platform VNNOX, the players can be used as so called ‘standalone’ devices. They connect to the internet by LAN, WIFI, or optionally by a cost-efficient LTE module, and like this access the cloud content. Programming and controlling of several controllers, installed worldwide, from your office is made possible.
Afterwards the controlling can happen through the web browser, as well as a smartphone. However, this depends on the location, as the devices set up a WIFI network by default, in which one can log on with a mobile device. With an app, available for iOS and Android, the controller can be recorded. The access to the standard version of the cloud service is included in the purchase of a NovaStar Taurus player.
Last, but not least: the devices of the Taurus series convince with their overall size. They are small and handy, thus perfect to hide behind outdoor ads. Furthermore, all Taurus products are available completely analogue with or without a case. The different device designations T and TB indicate the hardware type; the additional ‘B’ is short for ‘box’.
