We offer the most significant NovaStar controllers in our partner shop. An information text and a data sheet are provided for each product to collect the most important information. This makes the purchase decision even easier for you.
We think that the significant differences between the devices are hard to tell at first, hence we would like to offer you a closer look at the controllers of the VX-series.
VX-duo
VX4S-N and VX6S are 2K devices of NovaStar’s All-in-One series. The latter contains the two 4K-controllers NovaPro UHD and UHD Jr. All-in-One means that an external scaler is not necessary, as one is integrated. This is especially an advantage when the controller is used for mobile LED walls with frequently changing contents. The VX4S-N and the VX6S do not differ in their domain. They also have their easy operation in common.
But where is the actual difference?
Mainly in the screen size that can be played by the 2K controllers. The number of outputs of the controllers is included in the device designation. The VX4S-N offers 4, the VX6S 6 LED outputs. Each can play 650,000 pixels on the connected LED wall.
Another difference is in the number of supported layers. The VX4S-N can display one layer and picture in picture besides the background. The 6S displays three layers.
Your decision depends on how many connection options you need. The VX4S-N still has analog connections such as VGA in addition to current digital connections such as SDI 3G, while the VX6S no longer has analog connections.
What you should keep in mind before the purchase: the size of the event, the complexity of your presentation contents, and the kind of LED in- and outputs.
