A new addition to the VX-family: besides the smaller VX4-N and VX6S, the VX600 and 1000 enter NovaStar’s All-in-One-series. What this means and which of the two devices fit your needs best we have listed here for you.
They are the forward-looking new edition of their precursors. The VX600 is useful in its application options as a sending card, video controller and fibre converter. The VX1000 combines video controlling with video editing functions: siblings with extensive usage options.
The VX1000 plays 4K as well, while the smaller VX600 stops at 2K. Their pixel capacity is hence the biggest difference, the VX1000 plays 2.6 million pixels after all. Both are compatible with the Fibre Converter CVT-10 and offer Genlock. Their areas of use differ barely besides the size they can play. Both can be used mobile and for changing display contents due to the integrated scaler.
