NovaStar is going through a lot of changes to start a new era. New devices, new software, new demands. And we will keep you updated on that.

The newest member of the considerably big NovaStar product pallet is the KU20, formerly SU20. The device is, just like the already known MX40, a controller of the new COEX-series. Its name reveals a lot about its features. While “SU” stands for “sending unit”, the number 20 indicates the resolution of the device as it has 2K available, hence Full HD. Further devices will follow, e.g. the KU40, that offers a 4K UHD resolution.

The KU20 is comparable with the well-known MCTRL660 Pro, but it belongs to the new generation at NovaStar and hence works with a new software, the VMP. This new Visual Management Platform we already introduced to you. In interaction with the new controllers, it offers almost unlimited possibilities for image optimisation and with this allows to bring out the full potential of your LED wall.

In comparison to the MCTRL660 Pro, there are differences in the exits and inputs. These were partially reduced resp. changed with the KU20 when possible, so that with the device e.g. a cascade connection is possible. Nonetheless, also the size was reduced. The new sending card is only half as big as his according predecessor and is thus particularly space-saving.
