An LED wall can be set up or hung in different ways. This always depends on the surroundings and of course the safety. For our Pro, for example, we developed the Tri-Frame for this purpose and started our cooperation with Layher; they offer excellent scaffold systems for big constructions of the P4+WH Pro. But we thought: “there is more to come”, and started developing a special alternative: the Tri-Frame studding.
The new studding – for indoor and outdoor use
Keeping it as simple and safe as possible: our principle, also for our new studding. It only consists of a few elements. You need the Tri-Frames, the base plate by ATC(with the according weight for stabilization) and a diagonal – and you have everything for the construction. Should you already own a Tri-Frame, you only need to purchase the according base plates from us and you can start. This does not only save your wallet but saves you in comparison to other substructures material and hence truck storage space.

These are the advantages
Studdings are not really an invention, you might think. However, ours has a special gimmick: it can be used indoors and outdoors – so we can offer you a unique option.
There are different variations how you can put the construction together to be always well-adapted to the location. For outdoor use, the construction was calculated statically for wind forces 1 and 2, so a good part of Germany is covered, and it makes constructions of up to 5m height possible. Up to this height they are flying constructions that do not require a permit or a construction book. For autumn of this year, we are planning an option with a height of 7m. You will then be able to purchase this version including the construction book from us. The construction book, or inspection book, shows you various possibilities for the assembly and ensures you that the construction was as well statically calculated as well as tested by the TÜV. The width of your construction is practically not limited, as long as every linear metre is supported by a support frame.
Moreover, the construction allows a certain ground clearance as never before. It is therefore no problem to build the actual wall starting only from 2m in height. The wall does not have to start at floor level but can be well above, which makes an entirely new view possible, especially at events with many viewers – namely without the disturbing heads in the image.
Inside you can build constructions of up to 8m with the studding without an inspection book, as this is not necessary for constructions indoors. For this purpose, there are two different cantilevers for the construction. The smaller option with a length of 101.5m is suitable for constructions up to 5m in height. For constructions that exceed this height, longer cantilevers with 215.5cm are necessary. Furthermore, the indoor option is calculated according to the fair guidelines and possible hall winds so that tilt resistance and sliding safety are guaranteed. This means that even if there should be a strong draught in an exhibition hall, the LED wall and its supporting structure are equipped to withstand it. There is also an optional runway so that one can work on high constructions properly.
The Tri-Frame studding was statically calculated by EXPO Engineering. Since their first days, the company has worked on the Tri-Frames with us.
