Around 43,000 visitors visited this years IBC Show in Amsterdam between September 15 – 18. More than 1,250 exhibitors were present. The occasion? Of course, “the world’s leading content and technology event”, the IBC itself. In 1967, the fair started as the “International Broadcasting Convention”. Hence, it can look back at 56 years of history, filled with technological development and innovative trends. While the first fair hosted companies from 24 countries, this year you could count over 170 home countries. Part of this large group was – besides tech-giants like Google, Samsung, Adobe, LG and many, many more – also the market leader of LED controlling solutions NovaStar.
We share a long history with NovaStar. Not only did we believe in the manufacturers devices from the start, but since 2020 we have been an official NovaStar distribution partner. This means that you can purchase the devices from us, and you can profit from our know-how and the close connection to NovaStar.
At the fair in Amsterdam, NovaStar presented the new Virtual Production solution, as well as the devices of the COEX-series. For the former, one of our walls came into operation. For the Mini-XR-studio, that NovaStar had at their stand, we could contribute a few square meters of the NEO. The new indoor wall is particularly suitable for these kinds of events. Not only is it curveable, but thanks to its high resolution, brightness and refresh rate it is camera friendly – no need to worry about Moiré-effect or flickering.
We are very happy that our NEO was part of this significant trade fair thanks to NovaStar. Furthermore, as our Alex was at the IBC for the assembly of the wall and NovaStar has been our longest partner, our boss did not miss out on visiting the fair himself.
