Selling products in this kind of price and specialisation range requires more than just the technical understanding of the devices. Terms of guarantee and service offers can sometimes be unclear in their legal structure for the consumer. We want to make sure that the promised LEDTEK 3-year guarantee, our 48h-spare part service and any other of our offers do not remain an uncertainty.
Our sales are aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs. The statutory regulations on consumer rights are therefore not applicable.

3-year guarantee
The 3-year guarantee is a so-called bring-in guarantee. “Bring-in” hereby means that the defective part has to be brought to the guarantor by the guarantee (customer). The repair takes place at the guarantor’s premises. If a product naturally cannot be installed (e.g. in the case of fixed installations), LEDTEK service staff can carry out repairs on site. For this variant, costs for travelling, technician working hours and expenses are to be paid by the customer on a case-by-case basis. Without exception, only defects for which the customer is not responsible are covered by the guarantee. In particular, the guarantee does not cover mechanical damage to the LEDs caused by incorrect handling (knocks, etc.) or damage caused by moisture. |

48h-spare part service (max. 8 spare modules) The 48h-spare part service is a special type of the LEDTEK repair service. It was developed in particular for the short-term failure of a product or product part. This special case responds to the flexibility requirements that the event industry places on LED products. This means that in the case of a sudden failure of one your products, LEDTEK will send you a suitable spare part in advance after you have reported the defect in the service portal. Regularly, the spare part reaches its destination only 48 hours after your note in the service portal (*After posting, the dispatch is no longer the responsibility of the company. The regulation does not apply to shipments abroad, which take longer depending on the transport conditions). After the customer received the spare part, a period of 2 weeks applies to return the defective part to LEDTEK with the original LEDTEK shipping materials (box of the replacement part). If the defect is covered by the warranty, you keep the spare part. We rate the condition of the defective part in quality levels (A, B, C and T). A part of quality level A is a new part. The customer is sent a replacement part that is as good as new, meaning that the defective part must also be in this condition (regardless of the damage). In particular, this means that the defective part should not be sent in dirty. If the replacement part sent in is dirty, LEDTEK may charge a cleaning fee of up to €100. Please note that the price for a quality level C part will be doubled. These are parts whose module carrier or circuit board are irreparable. A part of quality level T is an (economic) total loss. For all other prices, please refer to the price table below. If you are not interested in cleaning and do not need urgent help, you should not send in the defective part via the 48h-spare part service, but via another repair service offer. In this case, LEDTEK will not send a replacement part, but only the part sent in by the customer, repaired and uncleaned. The upper cost limit for the 48-hour spare parts service is around 300€ (average price of an LED module). |

Repair system
All repair cases are subject to the provisions of the LEDTEK warranty. Repairs are only to be carried out by LEDTEK in the event of no fault of its own. Damage caused by the customer is not covered by the warranty without exception. This also includes transport damage due to incorrect despatch, impact or damage caused by moisture. To repair defective products or product parts, we offer three service options, including our 48-hour spare parts service for short-term failures, which LEDTEK customers can conveniently select via the service portal:
The second case allows a basic repair authorisation up to 65€. The defective part sent in is first tested for warranty eligibility and the amount of damage. The defective part should always be sent within the first 2-3 weeks after the damage. A calculated repair sum of less than 65 euros results in an immediate repair without further consultation with you. If the amount of damage of one of the products is over 65 euros, we will contact you for further consultation.
The third option allows you to calculate a cost estimate. This special case is designed primarily for cases where a cost estimate is required for insurance purposes. The calculation process is paid for by the customer and costs 15€ per item. You will only be informed by LEDTEK after the repair requirements have been determined in the cost estimate and, if necessary, order the repair. |

Contractual right of cancellation
This LEDTEK offer is aimed exclusively at commercial customers. The statutory cancellation regulations under consumer law are therefore not applicable. A right of cancellation is therefore offered in the form of a contractual provision. In principle, a right of cancellation of 14 days is granted. Conflicting facts are the so-called customised production (special production of any kind) or the no longer new condition of the goods (damage from impacts or similar, no proper shipping packaging). In these cases, we reserve the right to reduce the amount to be refunded accordingly. In the case of custom-made products of any kind (e.g. LEDBRIX), cancellation is only possible on a case-by-case basis. The customer shall pay the corresponding shipping costs |

The warranty does not cover all cases in which the customer is responsible for the damage. In particular, this also includes damage to the LEDs due to insufficient drying of the LED cabinets and transport boxes. See more details here.
However, even before organising our warranty and services, we focus on comprehensive initial and accompanying customer advice. In the best-case scenario, we prevent our customers from becoming dissatisfied. And if it does happen, we work out the best possible result within our service package.
