At the time you come to pick up your LEDTEK LED modules, they’ve already been checked, tested, and are ready to go. But have you ever wondered where our LED modules actually come from? Even if they don’t look like it, they’ve already been on quite a journey by the time they reach you. It all begins in China, more precisely, at our production facility in Shenzhen. That’s where our LED modules are manufactured, of course in compliance with the latest quality standards. And although a great distance separates us, the production process is subject to regular and thorough inspection.

Once an LED module is completed and passes quality control, it sets off on its way to Europe. Traveling by cargo ship, it follows major global trade routes: first through the Strait of Malacca, connecting the Pacific Ocean with the Indian Ocean, then through the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean Sea. But the intercontinental journey doesn’t end there. It continues through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Atlantic Ocean and heads straight for the North Sea, where it docks at a German port.

Now the module is finally back on solid ground, but it’s still not quite here yet. From northern Germany, it travels by truck directly to our headquarters in Göttingen. Upon arrival, we once again inspect build quality, safety, production conditions, and materials. After testing and cleaning, the LED modules are ready for pickup. Every one of our series is typically available in large quantities from stock, just waiting to be put to use by you. Up until this point, every module follows the same path. After that, the journey is wide open and uncertain. Our products are delivered to destinations across the entire German-speaking region. Maybe one will be coming to you soon?
